Well, I've now put up a new WoW section at http://www.the-enclave.com/wow

What I need now is some honest feedback. What do you think? Is there something you would like to change or add?

Most importantly, would you rather prefer a different layout and/or style? It has been suggested that it would be better with a simpler, "cleaner" layout, more like the front page at http://www.the-enclave.com, just with different graphics/colors. But I'm not sure yet.

As I've said before we can start the WoW section from scratch again. I wouldn't mind that. Then I get to play around some more with Photoshop..

I really want everyone to be satisfied with our website, as I'm doing it for the guild, and I enjoy doing a little web designing from time to time. The worst thing is silence, then I don't know if you like it or not.. As the website kind of represents the guild to the "world", it would be nice if others came with some input as well.

I like the page. There are some things that could be improved on, though, like those two boxes. I'm not sure what the goal is for those, but if they are in the plan to keep, then I'd do something to soften them. Much like the "Light within shadow..." text. I like having the most relevant messages in those two areas; just thinking of a way to make them less boxy and in the theme of the page.

I like the look Dav. With regards to the two boxes is there a way that we can create a column on the right side of the main text area that we could put them along with polls, maybe screenshot of the day etc?

The original plan for those two boxes was to put important information there. A short welcome message in the left box, and maybe important info of some sort (events etc.) in the right box. Yes, I can try to soften them a bit, do something so they fit better into the page. Do you think the "light within shadow" text fits in? When I read the old charter I thought it would be nice to put it on the main page as it kind of explains the name of the guild.

Arokh: yes, it is possible to create a column like that on the right side of the main text. Were you thinking about still keeping those boxes? A thought that popped into my head right now is to kind of "merge" the two boxes and a new right side column so it looks like everything goes together. I'm a bit worried about the bandwidth usage though, don't want it to be too much to load. But it should be ok, I can also try to compress the existing images a bit more.

Unfortunately, I had a major computer crash this weekend, so I won't be able to do anything before Friday at the earliest. I'm at a public computer now. Recovered a bit but my home computer still has problems with the graphics card and corrupted drivers/bluescreens, in addition to the power supply that's been acting very strangely for a year hehe.
